Self-guided walking tour in Jura, part of Franche comté region. Walking holidays in an beautiful area where water is everywhere, large quiet lakes, capricious streams gushing down or impressive waterfalls.

Opposite the Mountains of the Haut Jura stretches a peaceful region of open space, thick forests, mountain streams, sumptuous waterfalls and magnificent lakes which you will uncover gradually throughout this journey. Some of the lakes, wild and surrounded by forest, appear severe, while others are pleasanter, their banks decorated by small beaches. You will pass through charming villages where traditions like the making of comté, a regional cheese, still run thick. You will find yourself in a gastronomic paradise where you will appreciate daily the specialties of the region!
